Eligibility and Duration
- Purpose: The visa is specifically for individuals seeking medical treatment in India.
- Validity: The medical visa is usually granted for a maximum of one year, during which the patient can have two attendants who should be family members or close acquaintances.
Required Documents
- Passport: Original passport with at least six months of validity and two blank pages.
- Application Form: A completed online application form.
- Photographs: Two recent colored photographs (2-inch x 2-inch) with a white background.
- Medical Documents:
- A letter from a local hospital in Fiji detailing the patient’s medical history.
- A referral letter from a doctor.
- An acceptance letter from the Indian hospital, including estimated treatment costs and duration.
