  2. Visa Application Form: Complete the online visa application, print it, and sign it.
  3. Photographs: Two recent passport-sized color photos with a white background.
  4. Medical Documents:
    • Referral letter from a Ghanaian medical institution explaining the patient’s medical condition.
    • Invitation or confirmation letter from the Indian hospital detailing the treatment plan and estimated duration.
  5. Proof of Financial Means: Evidence of funds to support the patient and attendant(s) during the stay.
  6. Return Ticket: Proof of a return or onward flight.

Application Process

  1. Submit Online Application: Go to the Indian Visa Online portal, complete the Regular Visa Application form, selecting “Medical Visa.”
  2. Appointment: Book an appointment at the Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) in Ghana to submit the completed application and all supporting documents.
  3. Biometrics: Provide biometric data at the appointment as required.

Fees and Processing Time

  • Visa Fees: Fees are typically paid in Ghanaian Cedi at the IVAC. The exact amount may vary.
