Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must seek medical treatment at recognized hospitals or specialized medical centers in India.
  • Up to two attendants who are blood relatives can accompany the patient under separate Medical Attendant Visas, with validity matching the Medical Visa.

Documents Required:

  1. Completed online visa application form, printed out.
  2. Two recent passport-sized color photographs (2 x 2 inches) with a white background.
  3. Original and photocopy of ID (National ID or Passport).
  4. Medical documentation from the treating doctor or hospital in India.
  5. A confirmed return air ticket.
  6. Proof of accommodation in India.
  7. Evidence of previous medical treatments, if any.
  8. Current address proof.

Online Application Process:

  1. Visit the Indian Visa Online website.
  2. Fill out the Regular Visa Application, selecting the appropriate details including visa type and arrival date.
  3. Provide the required personal and passport information.
  4. Submit the application and note the appointment date for submission at the Indian Mission.
  5. Print the application form after saving the details.
