About Amrita Hospital

Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Faridabad campus spans 130 acres with 3.6 million square feet of built-up area, making it Asia's largest private multi-speciality hospital and one of the largest hospitals in the world by bed capacity.

The hospital operates 2,600 beds, including 534 smart ICU and critical care beds, and 64 fully networked modular operation theatres, supported by more than 800 doctors and over 81 specialities. Amrita Hospital is affiliated with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham School of Medicine, and is the first university teaching hospital in India to receive NABH accreditation, alongside NABL accreditation for its laboratory services.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. It's accredited by both NABH and NABL, and is the first university teaching hospital in India to receive NABH accreditation.
For most surgical and orthopaedic procedures, plan on 10 to 15 days total — hospital stay plus outpatient recovery before your surgeon clears you to fly. Organ transplant procedures need four to six weeks. Your written estimate confirms the expected duration before you book anything.
Yes. India issues a medical attendant visa for up to two family members alongside your medical visa, and we issue the invitation letter for both at no charge.
Send your recent reports, scans and discharge summary through the form on this page. A specialist reviews them and you receive a written, itemised estimate, usually within 24 to 48 hours, at no cost.
You pay the hospital directly, by bank transfer before you travel or by card or cash after you arrive. We never take payment from patients; our service is free and does not increase your hospital bill.
Your treating consultant remains available for online follow-up consultations during recovery, at no charge, and we coordinate those appointments and pass reports between your home doctor and the team at Amrita.
