Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, established in 1996 as a joint venture between the Apollo Hospitals Group and the Government of Delhi, is located in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. Spread across a 15-acre campus with more than 600,000 square feet of built-up area, the hospital operates 710 beds, expandable to 1,000, and offers 52 specialities under one roof, making it one of the most comprehensive private healthcare facilities in India.
Indraprastha Apollo was the first hospital in India and South Asia to receive JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation, in 2005, and has since been re-accredited through six consecutive cycles, most recently in 2025. The hospital is also NABH and NABL accredited, and its clinical laboratories meet international testing standards. It carries the maximum number of ICU beds of any private hospital in India, with over 250 ICU beds, including a dedicated 6-bed Bone Marrow Transplant unit.
