Dr. Dharma Choudhary

Dr. Dharma Choudhary is Director & Head of the Hemato Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematology Department, with over 20 years of experience in treating complex blood disorders and cancers.

He completed his MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from the University of Rajasthan, followed by a DM in Clinical Hematology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He went on to pursue fellowships in Haematology at Christian Medical College, Vellore, in Clinical Immunology at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, and in the Leukaemia/BMT Program of British Columbia at Vancouver General Hospital and BC Cancer Agency, Canada.

Dr. Choudhary has performed a large number of allogeneic and autologous bone marrow transplants across both pediatric and adult patients, treating conditions including Thalassemia Major, Sickle Cell Disease, Acute Leukemia, Aplastic Anemia, Multiple Myeloma and Lymphoma. During his tenure at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, he helped establish one of Delhi's early Allogenic Bone Marrow Transplant programs for Thalassemia Major and Aplastic Anemia.

He has authored numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research at global conferences including ASBMT, APBMT, EBMT and ISBMT.
