Metro Heart Institute with Multispeciality (MHIM), Faridabad, was founded in 2002 by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Purshotam Lal, an internationally renowned pioneer of interventional cardiology in India. Spread over 8 acres in Sector 16A, Faridabad, the hospital operates as two integrated units — a dedicated 90-bed Heart Institute and a 307-bed Multi-Specialty Hospital — bringing the group's cardiac heritage together with comprehensive tertiary care across more than 30 specialities.
With a total capacity of over 400 beds and 147 ICU beds, MHIM is accredited by NABH and NABL, and additionally holds KVQA (Kvalitet Veritas Quality Assurance) recognition. The hospital leads the region in kidney transplants, mammography-based early cancer detection, and operates the largest Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in the area.
