Dr. Sagar Gupta

Dr. Sagar Gupta is Senior Consultant in Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation at Metro Heart Institute with Multispecialty, Faridabad, with over 16 years of rich clinical experience. He trained and worked at some of the world's leading institutions, including Washington University in St. Louis, USA, and previously served at Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi.

An alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, Dr. Gupta completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, William Beaumont Hospital, Michigan, followed by fellowships in Nephrology and Hypertension, and in Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation, both from Washington University in St. Louis, Barnes Jewish Hospital, USA. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

His clinical expertise spans renal transplantation, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, hypertension, critical care nephrology, and all forms of dialysis, including haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home haemodialysis. He has authored several publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, including a book chapter on complications in renal transplantation for The Washington Manual of Nephrology Subspecialty Consult, and has presented research at American Society of Nephrology annual meetings in San Diego and Chicago.
