Dr. Alka Gujral

Dr. Alka Gujral is Senior Director and Head of Unit, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, with over 43 years of experience in the field. She completed her MBBS and MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Agra Medical College in 1981, and is a Fellow of the Indian College of Maternal & Child Health.

She has practised at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, since April 2006, alongside long-standing positions at Moolchand Hospital, New Delhi, since 1998, and previously at Fortis La Femme, Greater Kailash II, and Sitaram Bhartia Institute. Her clinical focus spans high-risk pregnancy management, fertility treatment, gynaecological laparoscopy, and the treatment of endometriosis, fibroids, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). She is proficient in surrogacy, IVF, IUI, painless deliveries, and laparoscopic myomectomy.

Dr. Gujral is a founding member of the Delhi Gynaecological Endoscopic Society and a member of the International Society of Gynaecological Endoscopists. She holds life memberships with FOGSI (Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India), the Indian Society of Gynaecological Laparoscopy, NARCHI, the Academy of Women's Health, and the Indian Menopause Society, and is also a member of the Urogynaecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Society of India.
