About Dr Amitabh Singh
Dr. Amitabh Singh is a Senior Consultant in Plastic Surgery at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurgaon. He has been working across various Fortis hospitals in New Delhi and the National Capital Region since 2008, with a special interest in plastic surgery after massive weight loss and microvascular reconstruction.
He completed his MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and MCh in Plastic Surgery from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He went on to train in microvascular surgery at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, and Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. He further completed a fellowship in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery after massive weight loss (post-bariatric surgery) at Iowa City, Iowa, USA, and trained with leading plastic surgeons at Emory University, Atlanta, USA.
Dr. Singh has authored multiple publications in plastic surgery journals and textbooks and regularly attends scientific meetings to stay current with advances in the field.
