Dr. (Maj. Gen.) Avtar Singh Bath is the Senior Director of the Centre for Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic, Burns & Craniofacial Surgery at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi. With over 35 years of experience, he is regarded as one of the leading plastic surgeons in Delhi.

He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery, followed by his MCh in Plastic Surgery, along with fellowship training in microsurgery and cosmetic surgery. Prior to joining BLK, Dr. Bath served as Head of Department and Professor of Plastic Surgery at Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Delhi Cantt.

Dr. Bath has received several national honours, including the Sena Medal (2004) and Vishisht Seva Medal (2007) from the President of India, along with the National Travelling Fellowship in Plastic Surgery (1988) and Ethicon Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery (1996) from the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India. He was president of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India – Delhi Chapter (2002–04) and has over 30 publications in national and international journals. He continues to serve as a teacher and examiner for DNB and MCh Plastic Surgery programs at several universities.
