About Dr. Kaberi Banerjee
Dr. Kaberi Banerjee is Founder and Medical Director of Advance Fertility & Gynaecology Centre (AFGC), New Delhi, one of the leading IVF and infertility clinics in Delhi NCR. A seasoned Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, she has over 30 years of experience and has, along with her team, been involved in more than 10,000 successful pregnancies.
Dr. Banerjee's expertise lies in successfully managing complex cases of repeated IVF failures, egg donation, and surrogacy. She completed her MBBS and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and was later associated with AIIMS as a Senior Resident and Research Associate.
She went on to train at the prestigious Guys and St Thomas' Hospital, London, as a Commonwealth Scholar, spending three years in the UK undergoing rigorous training in infertility and IVF, including a Clinical Fellowship at Guys Hospital. She also spent time at the Assisted Reproduction and Gynaecology Centre (ARGC), London — renowned for having some of the highest IVF success rates in Europe.
Prior to founding AFGC, Dr. Banerjee served as a Senior IVF Specialist and Consultant at several major hospitals in Delhi, including Max Hospital and Moolchand Medcity. She founded CUPART (Current Practices and Recent Advances in ART) in 2011, an international organization promoting research and best practices in fertility and IVF.
Dr. Banerjee holds membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), London, and the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS). She has received several honours, including the Bharat Jyoti Award, the IMAAMS Distinguished Service Award in IVF, the India Excellence Award in Medicine (2015), and the President's Prize at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Tokushima.
