Dr Mukta Kapila

Dr Mukta Kapila is Director and Head of the Department of Obstetrics & Minimal Invasive Gynecology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, with 36 years of experience. She is regarded as one of the best obstetrics and gynaecology specialists in the region, known for her expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies, infertility and a wide range of women's health issues.

She completed her MBBS, a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO), and a DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is adept in all advanced clinical and surgical treatments in obstetrics and gynaecology, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery and uro-gynaecological procedures. Her special interests include normal and caesarean delivery, laparoscopic fibroid surgery, laparoscopic hysterectomy and laparoscopic ovarian cyst surgery.

Earlier in her career, Dr Kapila served as Senior Consultant at several reputed institutions including Noida Medical Center, Cradle and Paras Hospitals, Vijay Marie Hospital, and Artemis Health Institute, and as Head of Department at Marwari Relief Society. She regularly holds live workshops in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery and is a frequent panelist and chairperson at national and international CMEs and symposiums.
