Dr. Rama Joshi

Dr. Rama Joshi is a distinguished Surgical Oncologist specialising in gynaecologic cancer surgery, with over 32 years of extensive clinical experience. She currently serves as Chairman of Gynae Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, and is recognised as one of the leading gynaecologic onco-surgeons in India.

With more than a decade of dedicated experience performing robotic-assisted oncologic surgeries, Dr. Joshi has built an outstanding reputation for delivering precision cancer care using cutting-edge surgical technology. Her surgical expertise encompasses complex open procedures as well as advanced robotic-assisted operations for cervical, ovarian, endometrial, vulvar, and vaginal cancers. She has served as HOD of Gynae Oncology at several leading institutions across Delhi-NCR.

She completed a Fellowship in Gynae Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and was a UICC Fellow at B.G.H., Buffalo, NY, USA. She has trained at the Comprehensive Cancer Centre, University of Michigan, USA, and the University of Lyon, France, and completed robotic surgery training at da Vinci Intuitive, Sunnyvale, California, USA.
