Prof. (Dr.) Shakti Bhan Khanna is a distinguished gynaecologist, obstetrician and gynae-oncosurgeon with over 46 years of experience. She has rich expertise in robotic surgery for gynaecological cases and specializes in gynaecological oncology surgery, having completed a fellowship in oncology in New York, USA.

She has extensive experience across gynae-oncology, gynae endocrinology, infertility, high-risk pregnancy and pelvic reconstructive surgery. She developed the surgical technique known as Khanna's Sling Operation for vault prolapse, an innovation in the field of urogynaecology that has produced consistently successful outcomes.

Dr Khanna treats a wide range of conditions including general reproductive health issues, pregnancy-related complications, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), irregular periods, infertility, pelvic pain and prolapse, fibroids and endometriosis. Her surgical repertoire includes laparoscopic hysterectomy, IVF, open fibroid and ovarian cyst removal, vaginoplasty, hysteroscopy and tubal ligation reversal.

She has been a recognised postgraduate teacher since 1985 for the universities of Kashmir, Jammu, Delhi, AIIMS and Bombay, and served as Assistant Professor to Professor at Government Medical College, Srinagar, for 30 years.
