About PSRI Hospital

About PSRI Hospital

Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute — known as PSRI Hospital — was established in 1996 in Sheikh Sarai, South Delhi, promoted by the JK Group, one of India's leading industrial conglomerates. It was founded as South Asia's first institute and India's foremost centre for the advanced and comprehensive treatment of digestive diseases, built around super-specialties in gastroenterology, GI surgery, nephrology, and urology.

Over the years, PSRI has grown into a comprehensive multi-speciality hospital offering more than 23 specialities, including cardiac sciences, neurosciences, orthopaedics and joint replacement, and a full liver transplant programme, while retaining its core strength in gastroenterology and hepatology. The hospital operates 200 beds, including a state-of-the-art 42-bed Critical Care Unit, and is accredited by NABH for clinical excellence and NABL for its laboratory medicine department, alongside ISO 9001:2008 certification.

PSRI is particularly well known for kidney and liver care, including dialysis, renal transplantation, and complex liver transplant surgery, and treats patients from India as well as Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia through a dedicated International Patient Centre.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. PSRI is NABH accredited for clinical excellence and NABL accredited for its laboratory medicine department, and holds ISO 9001:2008 certification.
For most gastroenterology, urology or orthopaedic procedures, plan on 10 to 15 days total — hospital stay plus outpatient recovery before your surgeon clears you to fly. Liver and kidney transplant procedures need four to six weeks. Your written estimate confirms the expected duration before you book anything.
Yes. India issues a medical attendant visa for up to two family members alongside your medical visa, and we issue the invitation letter for both at no charge.
Send your recent reports, scans and discharge summary through the form on this page. A specialist reviews them and you receive a written, itemised estimate, usually within 24 to 48 hours, at no cost.
You pay the hospital directly, by bank transfer before you travel or by card or cash after you arrive. We never take payment from patients; our service is free and does not increase your hospital bill.
Your treating consultant remains available for online follow-up consultations during recovery, at no charge, and we coordinate those appointments and pass reports between your home doctor and the team at PSRI.
