Dr Anil Prasad Bhatt

Dr Anil Prasad Bhatt is Director of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida, with over 24 years of experience in renal medicine and kidney transplantation. He is an alumnus of GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, and holds an MD in Internal Medicine and a DM in Nephrology and Kidney Transplant from AIIMS, New Delhi. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London (FRCP), and a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, USA (FASN).

He has performed more than 2,000 kidney transplants across various institutions, including pioneering crossmatch-positive transplants (the first in 2017) and over 100 ABO-incompatible transplants with excellent outcomes during his tenure at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida. He has established a highly successful kidney care, dialysis and transplant programme at Max Noida since 2014, attracting both domestic and international patients.

Dr Bhatt is the founder of Renacare, a network of dedicated dialysis and home hemodialysis centres across Delhi NCR and Uttarakhand. His team currently conducts more than 60,000 dialysis sessions annually across nine centres. He has served in several reputed organisations including Holy Family Hospital, New Delhi, Fortis Hospital, Noida, Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida, and Max Superspeciality Hospital, Mohali, and has mentored nephrologists in interventions including AV fistula, permcath placement and kidney biopsies.

His clinical interests span kidney transplant, dialysis, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, ABO-incompatible transplant, paediatric nephrology, home hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, nephrotic syndrome and renal hypertension.
