Dr Rajeev Verma

Dr Rajeev Verma is a joint replacement and orthopedic surgeon with 26 years of overall experience, currently practicing at Manipal Hospital, Dwarka Sector 6, Delhi. He is an expert in joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery, and complex trauma and limb reconstruction procedures.

He completed his MBBS at King George's Medical College, Lucknow University, and his MS in Orthopaedics at Government Medical College and Hospital, Patiala. He went on to gain extensive clinical experience in the UK, serving as Registrar and Clinical Research Fellow at Hull Royal Infirmary, Senior Registrar at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust, and Senior Registrar at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

Since 2012, Dr Verma has been associated with Fortis, serving as Senior Consultant at Fortis Memorial Research Institute before continuing as Consultant. He treats a wide range of conditions and performs procedures including ACL and PCL reconstruction, Bankart's repair for recurrent shoulder dislocation, and knee and lower back pain management.

He has published research in peer-reviewed journals on topics including hip fracture outcomes, pedicle screw placement and proximal humerus fracture management. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), a Life Member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association, and a member of the British Trauma Society.
