He holds MBBS and MS degrees from Rajasthan University and an MCh in Neurosurgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh, and completed a visiting fellowship at Singapore General Hospital.

He has performed more than 8,000 spine and brain surgeries and has trained numerous Indian and international surgeons. He has also worked as a visiting consultant in Kenya, Nigeria, Iraq, Uzbekistan and Sudan.

His areas of focus include brain and spine tumors, degenerative spine disorders, functional and image-guided neurosurgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spine fixations and paediatric neurosurgery.

Dr Saroha is a member of the North American Spine Society (NASS), the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the Neurological Society of India (NSI), the Association of Spine Surgery of India (ASSI) and AOSpine Asia Pacific.
