Dr Nitish Anchal

Dr Nitish Anchal is Consultant and Head of the Department of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, with over 18 years of clinical experience in managing complex arterial and venous diseases. He is known for advanced minimally invasive vascular procedures and limb salvage treatments.

He completed his MBBS at Kuvempu University in 1998 and his MS in General Surgery at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Kasturba Medical College), Manipal, in 2002. He went on to complete an FNB in Peripheral Vascular Surgery at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2013, and holds a Fellowship in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery from the Jain Institute of Vascular Sciences (JIVAS), Bangalore.

Dr Anchal specializes in treating aortic, carotid and peripheral arterial diseases, along with venous disorders and diabetic foot complications. His procedural expertise includes aortofemoral bypass surgery, varicose vein treatment, aneurysm surgery, femoral angioplasty, stent-grafts, carotid stenting, sclerotherapy, arteriovenous fistula and grafting for hemodialysis access, and cerebrovascular surgery.

Before joining Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, he served as Senior Consultant in Vascular Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, and as Consultant and Head of Department of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at Columbia Asia Hospital, Patiala and Gurugram, and Columbia Asia Hospital, Ghaziabad. He also served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at BPKIHS, Nepal. He is a Life Member of the Vascular Society of India and is registered with the Delhi Medical Council.
