About Dr. Samir Sud

Dr. Samir Sud is Co-Founder and Director of Sharp Sight Eye Hospitals, which he established alongside Dr. Kamal B. Kapur in 1992. He has performed more than 20,000 cataract and LASIK surgeries over his career, and is a certified trainer for Bausch & Lomb LASIK surgery.

He completed his MBBS from the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, and his DNB from the National Board of Examinations. He received further advanced surgical training at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He is a prestigious member of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS) and has travelled internationally to train other surgeons in cataract and LASIK techniques.

Under his leadership, Sharp Sight introduced bladeless cataract surgery for the first time in Delhi NCR, along with advanced procedures including Robotic Femto Cataract surgery, Zepto Cataract surgery, and Touchless LASIK. He believes in compassionate, transparent, and evidence-based eye care, with an emphasis on patient education and personalised treatment planning.
