Dr. Anant Kumar

Dr. Anant Kumar is Chairman of Uro-Oncology, Robotic and Kidney Transplantation at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, and Max Hospital, Vaishali, with 35 years of experience in urology and kidney transplant. His specialist interests include kidney transplantation and renovascular hypertension, robotic and laparoscopic urology, urethral stricture, uro-oncology, and laser prostate surgery.

He completed his MBBS from King George Medical University, Lucknow, followed by MS (General Surgery), MCh (Urology), and DNB (Urology) from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He previously served as Professor and Head of the Department of Urology and Renal Transplantation at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow; Director of Urology, Robotic and Kidney Transplantation across the Fortis Group of Hospitals, Delhi and NCR; Senior Consultant in Urology and Transplantation at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi; and Consultant Urologist at Addenbrooke's NHS Foundation, Cambridge, UK.

Dr. Kumar has published over 180 papers in national and international journals, written several book chapters and invited reviews, and delivered guest lectures at numerous prestigious meetings and institutions. He is a member of several leading urology and transplant bodies, including the American Urological Association, the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the European Association of Urology, and the International Transplant Society.
